About

I was born in Windsor, Ontario and have lived here my entire life. I studied psychology at the University of Windsor and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Honours Psychology.  I have worked in long-term care for the past five years while providing in-home services for individuals in need. My work experience has allowed me to expand my clientele to younger individuals who require in-home assistance for respite needs.

Currently, I am completing my Masters in Health Studies (MHS) at the University of Athabasca in order to gain a leadership role and implement change with the current trends in healthcare.

I have created this ePortfolio in order to display my education, work experience, and resources connected to my profession to educate individuals about my professional accomplishments and goals!

As a Respite worker I belong to the Ministry of Children and Youth Services in Ontario which works by helping to improve outcomes for children, youth, families and individuals who need support, and advancing the interests of women across Ontario. To learn more about this organization

As a Caregiver, I am connected to The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) which works in order to protect and advocate for caregivers who create assessments based on personalized care plans for both in and out-of-home individuals. They provide certification for caregivers with yearly renewals on mandatory courses that can aid in enhancing the client's life. Click on the following link to access the direct website.
